Experience of Teaching online to Primary Children

I am in a noble profession to teach primary children since  2009,but the COVID -19 pandemic has given me an experience which  I wont forget my lifetime(if only I survive). Offline teaching I mean to say,the traditional way , is much more interesting than the present one.

But now a days children are more interested in technology, irrespective of the harmful effects.They have adapted themselves so well that you cannot even imagine that there is a place called school.

Every morning when I sit in front of my laptop with all the cameras on by the children,I enter into a totally different world of children or their parents( I don’t know which would be correct).You would not be feeling bad to miss the serials because all the drama is there only in front of your screen like mothers discussing their household matters(why they don’t use other devices or other time slot),you would see mothers(not all of them) completing their household chores,then you begin wondering when my work will be finished, Fathers(not all of them) would not be hesitant at all to sit at backside by not following the  formal clothing. The word “concentrate” at seeing all this is applicable to me or to children in this context I don’t know. Parents poking their child to answer the questions correctly asked by teacher,as if the teacher can’t hear all of it.

There is much more things happening than I have expressed.Let us hope better days will come soon.But this experience has taught me to understand the quote that “ I have no methods, all I do is accept people as they are”.
